My first sweet little collection is a curation of these beautiful, simple mats from a local Amish community. The grandmother of the family, Rosalie weaves them in Ohio and sends them for her family to sell at their farm stand in Pennsylvania. I first discovered them last summer while buying produce in bulk to preserve for the winter ahead.

In May, I rushed back... the farm stand wasn’t open yet, but I had a strong desire to purchase more of these mats to offer to others. Thankfully, they entertained the idea with me. My goal is to collaborate with Rosalie on a collection in the future... time will tell :)

I love the lively colors and functional feel of such a simple item. It’s purposeful and easy on the eyes. Each one is unique in its colors, patterns and currently offered in a few sizes.  They are not aggressive—yet they are bold.

May we all be a little bolder — playful yet practical in our approach to life. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
